I love the whole thing -- I travel often to see my aging parents and the idea of having a compact bag with supplies handy to make some art is fabulous! It would be great to have everything contained in a bag so there's no hunting for supplies or carrying extra bags full of stuff that I never have time to do.

For the summer, mygoal is to dust off my Ebony pencils and do more drawing, especially outside. I have discovered the Everyday Matters site, and plan to begin the challenges RIGHT NOW! By the end of the summer I should have a nice stash of drawings to expand on.

I have several workshops lined up for the summer which include a collage project and creating a doll. I am very fortunate to have a quilt shop nearby and the owner is very much into fiber arts. She always keeps my creative juices flowing!! Your bags are simply adorable. I love the colors.

After a hiatus, I'm back in the sewing saddle and loving it. I renewed my subscription to Quilting Arts and am so inspired. I'm finishing up a piece for my mother-in-law for her 81st birthday and planning my next project.

Without a job, any traveling that was planned for this summer has been cut down to none. But it doesn't mean that one of these lovely bags or the iron for that matter would not be a welcome addition to my craft corner. One of these bags would make an awesome storage for my crochet projects, or small appliques that I like to put together to add to shirts, jeans, etc... Since my iron died, the portable iron would be very handy.

For us down under, it's winter and can be quite cool but there's still plenty to do indoors, be it cooking, sewing, dyeing (lace, materials), hand stitching (while watching a favourite DVD, like Pride & Prejudice with Colin Firth, of course). And there's always cleaning up the workspace!

My sister and I get together each year to attend a quilt show / exhibit, and we also make time to walk a half marathon together. We have completed half marathons in northern and southern California, from San Francisco to San Diego; but the highlights of 2008 were our trips to Long Beach -- first in July for the first ever Long Beach International Quilt Festival; then we went back in October to walk in the 24th Long Beach International City Bank Half Marathon. We have not picked a new marathon location yet, but we are definitely going back to the Quilt Festival in 2009! That is one trip worth repeating and certainly not one to miss! My daughter is a photographer and she is getting married in September -- I am working on a Wedding Quilt with some of her more abstract looking photographs of graffiti. Her photos of words look more like modern art than writing - particularly to Mom!

I just finished the new issues of studios- I'm so inspired. I'm just a wanna be artist but I do like to give it the old college try. I'm going to Glacier Ntl Park this summer. There are so many opportunities to create in the outdoors. The bags are great and are a great way to cary art with you.

Love those bags! I am so excited to get to take a class from Rosalie Dace this summer. She is going to be teaching trees. I haven't taken a class in several years, and can hardly wait.

Our guild is having a Garden/Quilt Walk in a couple of weeks. We have 8-10 gardens involved with tons of quilts in each yard. Anyone in Western Montana on June 20 is sure invited to enjoy the show.

I belong to an art group that meets monthly, and we have the best time doing a different experimental technique each month. Recently I have been experimenting with "skins" that I can incorporate into my art quilts, and I'm hoping that I can carve out some time to continue that experimentation.

In need of a creative boost, I plan on visiting New York for the first time. My first stop is NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art: Costume Institute, European Paintings & European Decorative Arts primarily. Second stop: culinary tour of West Village/NoHo/Hell's Kitchen. Packing for the weekend trip is difficult. Finding a bag that keeps me organized and stylish on the go seemed nearly impossible until now. Love the bags!

The bags are great and small size of iron is a must for travel. I just spent time in Hawaii and got a bonus. The Marriot in Ko Olina had a resisdent artist so I was able to take a watercolor class. It was great. I plan on a vacation to Orlanda in July and my yound adult children will be doing the amusement parks , my husband playing tennis and I plan on working on some art projets. Having an easy way to trasport supplies would be great!.

I plan to take a workshop of sorts; In August I will drive 5 hours to MN to visit my mentor, Nancy Birger. When I hang out with her in her lovely studio she gives me ideas, encouragements and solutions to my projects. She also sends me home with some of her scraps - always a bonus!

Love the bags! I have been taking a bajillion workshops this year, and any of those bags would be great! This summer I am doing a Quilt Week at my friend's beach house. I am going to finish up my daughter's Strativarious quilt there. Next weekend I am going to a 'Sit n Sew' sponsored by my quild. There I hope to finish my 'Throw Me a Curve Mystery quilt that I just did this weekend with Mark Lipinski.
