This medium makes an excellent adhesive and transfer medium for paper and fabric. Soft gel is not as thick and tacky as matte gel medium and spreads easily and smoothly. It is perfect for fabric because it does not make it feel so thick and hard when dry.
8 Fluid ounces
Garnet Gels are made with acrylic polymer binder and Almadine Garnet, a mined material. They offer a range of granular textures with a natural reddish-brown hue. Garnet Gels dry to a hard, semi-opaque film with very good flexibility. They mix well with Golden Acrylic Colors for textural effects with color or can be used naturally for unusual grounds.
Pumice gel can be used to create textured surfaces when used alone or mixed with Golden gels, mediums, or acrylic colors. Dries to a hard film.
A favorite among mixed-media artists, matte gel medium can be used to create glazes, extend paints, build texture, and change finishes. An excellent glue for collage work.
